Help bring yoga to military and first responder communities

It’s through donations we can offer veterans, service members and first responders in Massachusetts free, accessible and adaptable trauma-informed yoga that helps increase resiliency and heal invisible wounds. For as little as $10 you can provide a free group class to one of our Warriors.

With your ongoing support we can sustain our programs throughout the year. Please consider a recurring monthly donation.

Create meaningful impact

Our work began with people like Larry, a World War II Veteran who sought out private yoga classes for the first time in 2021. Now, at age 99, Larry attends yoga up to three times a week, including at our weekly free Warrior classes.

It is with your support we can deliver accessible yoga to Veterans of all generations.

Your donation:

  • Supports free weekly yoga classes exclusive to Warriors and their families

  • Brings private in-home sessions to WW2 & Korean War Veterans to ensure they have the individual attention they need.

  • Provides training to our instructors in the unique scope of need in Veteran & first responder communities

  • Invests in yoga mats and other gear to ensure classes are adaptable for all levels and abilities

  • Allows us to expand and add new classes in locations across Massachusetts

In Kind Donations

Having the right yoga gear helps make classes more accessible to those who are not flexible, have a limited range of motion or for those who use prosthetics. Donating new and or gently used yoga mats and gear is a meaningful way to get involved with WWYP and support our Warriors.

If you are a studio looking to get rid of gently used props including mats, blankets, foam blocks, yoga straps, or bolsters please reach out directly to info@warriorwithinyoga.org
